Is testing required if you've tested positive in the last 3 months?

Does Royal Caribbean require a covid test be taken if you've tested positive in the last 3 months and are symptom-free? The CDC states: "If you tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 3 months and met criteria to end isolation, you do NOT need to get tested before or after cruise travel unless you have symptoms. CDC has found that people can continue to test positive for up to 3 months after they had COVID-19 and not be infectious to others..."

While it's POSSIBLE to still test positive up to 90 days after your infection (particularly with a PCR test), it's not PROBABLE that you'll test positive after you've recovered.

Vast majority of people test negative with an antigen test after recovery.  And cruise ships accept antigen tests for all vaccinated passengers.

If you're concerned about it, take one of the freebie home tests a week or two after you have recovered.  Then you can ease your mind about potentially testing positive when not actually contagious.
