Cabin Upgrade onboard

If I book online with Celebrity, can I upgrade my cabin on board a cruise ship? Would I get the extra onboard credit?

Yes. No.

 

Edited to say booking online has nothing to do with getting an upgrade. If there is availability to upgrade. Never hurts to ask. Especially now with reduced numbers on cruises.

Are you saying you have a cruise that you already  booked on-line with Celebrity and want to know if you can go the the Future Cruise office on the ship and upgrade the cabin you have to a higher level cabin and get the OBC for booking on-line?.  If that is  the question I believe the answer is No.   You  could cancel the original booking and then book on board for the extra OBC but it would be the price when you book on the ship, which may be higher than the original booking.
