Yes – as demonstrations only [with no tasting] thanks to the CDC. Maybe if NCLH decides that the latest CDC 'voluntary' rules are crazy-talk they will be able to return to a format that lets passengers taste the wonderful creations Chef Steph makes! 2

I always thought it wasn't necessarily about the tasting, but the actual hands on preparing by the guest with the instruction by the Chef. I'm pretty sure that's what the Culinary center is supposed to be about. Of course tasting it at the end is the icing on the cake. Personally I don't like cooking, so this has never interested me. I do know plenty of people who love to cook.
tvmovielover Posted February 16, 2022 #54 Share Posted February 16, 2022 The cooking class format was preparing parts of the recipes at stations and then tasting with wine at the end. They were fun on sea days. But there were also sometimes cooking demonstrations on the stage sometimes with tastings afterwards. The chefs made lots of jokes and they were fun too. The demos would be fun even without tasting. Sometimes a demo recipe was served in one of the restaurants.

I do all the cleaning so it works out.

As Chef Steph says, "I have a self-cleaning kitchen." That makes being a gourmet chef much more doable...
