Sailing on MSC Meraviglia out of Port Canaveral later this month and curious about recent experiences at the port with check in times. Is MSC turning away guests arriving before the check in times on their e-tickets?

Thanks for any help.

Basically the answer is "It can happen". Full ship in the Med (Wetsern) raises the risk a lot. A half empty Mera out of the US makes the risk very small.

Do know an upcoming sailing will have delayed embarkation due to mandatory Coast Guard planned visit and crew required commitments

So if you try to get onboard for that sailing all including YC will be delayed

It can, may, possibly happen.

Your cruise documents specifically state not to report early.  As many others have posted, that does not seem to to be the case these days.   But, they can have you wait until your board time.

Unlike Airports, Cruise terminals have very few amenities to help pass the time.
