Mocktail Ideas for the Teens

T Minus 7 days! Both of the girls have the refreshment package and are interested in Mocktailing it on the pool deck and such.  What are your RC faves?

Strawberry Margaritas were my favorite on my last cruise.

Lava flow, mango daiquiri, strawberry daiquiri, Pina colada.

 

When the pool bar is not swamped have the girls go over and ask the bar tenders for some other recommendations.  The bar staff love to help you find a new favorite drink - with or without booze.

On one of the bar menus I saw a non-alcoholic blueberry mojito which sounded good.  I have also heard they can make a frozen lemonade.

Some good suggestions here for me to try.  To me, alcohol tastes like a dusty male's elephant foot after 5pm.  Don't ask me how I know.

I went with the Refreshment package for my first RC cruise last December. Virgin mudslides are great, and the milkshakes from Johnny Rockets are included in the package. Bring your own metal or silicone straw though, as their paper ones are not durable enough to cope with milkshakes.

 

My favorite of the zero proof mocktails was the Shirley Ginger, which was a fine substitute for my usual Moscow Mule.

Yes...I usually get these and they are good...but not all bars on the ship make them, due to not having mint in there area

Both the frozen ones and the regular with fresh mint.  The latter being one of my favorite drinks

There is a guava, passion fruit,  pineapple sangria on the bar menus. Ask for it with sprite instead of white wine. I drank them all week on oasis....

It's a pina colada with strawberry syrup type stuff. It's similar to a MIami vice, but since the Miami vice uses strawberry daiquiri the lava flow is missing the lime that's in daiquiris. And I think the strawberry flavor is more potent because it's just drizzled in the drink vs being blended with ice first.

Our bartender, Ulises, in the suite lounge on Navigator made our son a couple of the sangrias, but used ginger ale instead of wine.  DS loved it! Also peach and mango daquiris.
