Connoisseur Club / Cigar Lounge

Quick question.   I'm headed out on the Explorer of the Seas next week.  On the ship, they have a cigar lounge called the Connoisseur Club.  I believe they have the same lounge on several Royal Caribbean ships.  Does anyone know if they are open, or closed due to COVID?  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

We were on the Liberty of the Seas in mid-December. Adjacent to the Star Lounge, which is on the fifth deck all the way forward, is a room labeled “Connoisseur Club.” However, I was told by another cruiser, and I saw a sign on the door myself, that it’s closed most of the time except for when it is being used as a Pinnacle Lounge.

The Adventure OTS is the same class of ship (Voyager) as the Explorer. We were on the Adventure for a total of 7 cruises in November, December, and January. Next to her Imperial Lounge (fifth deck, forward again) is a room labeled “ Card Room” and I believe it was also being used as a Pinnacle Lounge.

I don’t believe they allow smoking of any kind in those rooms. I remember seeing smoking areas in parts of the pool deck and outside, port side on deck 4 on the Adventure, however.

Before the covid shut down, ships being AMPED that had the Connoisseur Club were being eliminated and turned into a library/card room. Once cruising started back up the Connoisseur Club, library/card room was turned into the pinnacle lounge in the evening for the C&A HH. The Explorer wasn't AMPED so the Connoisseur Club is still listed on RC website but I doubt smoking is allowed in there currently. Especially now that RC isn't allowing smoking in the casino, fleetwide.

The room has been repurposed. No smoking. Many of them were turned into libraries pre-Covid but now the books have been removed.

It is generally unused  during the day. Some ships (I think mariner) had a couple of computers in there. I had some consulting work to do during one day and was able to work  in there with no distraction/interruption.

It is a pinnacle lounge for a couple of hours each evening.
