No excursions necessary. Plenty of places to hang out (pool, beaches) without charge and plenty of complimentary food.

Flowrider, no booking, just show up and stand in line. Must do bumper cars. Must hang out and go to anything and everything in Two70. Must go to the stairs on Deck 13 and look down through the glass floor. If available on your cruise, should do the Escape Room. Must avoid the stupid Art Auctions. Must be polite and courteous to the poor mistreated staff at Guest Services. Must enjoy a lovely free day at CocoCay. Must try the funnel cake - with powdered sugar, please, NOT chocolate syrup. (yuck). 6
Cruiser24 Posted February 12, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2022 Anyone recently on Anthem - did the water come in cans or bottles? Last cruise on Enchantment, water was in cans with no way to close. I'm wondering whether or not I need to bring an empty bottle to put the water in. Thanks. Rare Oceansaway17 Posted February 12, 2022 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2022 I greatly enjoyed Jamie Olivers while at sea for LUNCH. yum. Oh, and do not forget to sit in the area in Two 70 that is by the window in aft looking at the wake. And also, make sure you sit on the large Swing in front of the ship in the Solarium. Nice to do this when not crowded say around 5pm. Stop by the music hall in upper section when they have games or music going on. You can stand for a while before trying to find a seat.

What I do is take photos of the ones I like on the sly. I also take photos of the ART IN STAIRWELLS. Some of the prettiest stuff is in the stairs area front and back. We had a mix of canned water, tall alum water bottles and one day the bartender in casino was thrilled to announce someone found a bunch of plastic water bottles in storage. Most days we had the tall alum water bottles with screw top lids but are difficult to put screw the cap back on. I recommend you bring your empty water bottle. Sunshine3601 Posted February 13, 2022 #12 Share Posted February 13, 2022 If you like a good hot roast beef sandwich, go to Cafe 270 for lunch and get the kummelweck sandwich. They have sides of horseradish, garlic mayo or au jus. Delicious. Try to book North Star or the I Fly for free on port days otherwise they will charge you if you book for a sea day. If you like soft ice cream, it is located just outside the indoor pool I believe on the starboard side. If you like hot dogs, bratwurst and I think Kielbasa that is located rear corner of the sea plex. Bumper cars is always a favorite. they do rotate the bumper cars for other sports such as basketball in that area so make sure to check the schedule on the daily compass or the app on your phone If you go to rear of WJ and you will find outdoor seating, nice to eat there on warm days. there is so much to do and see onboard. Music Hall and 270 our 2 of our favorite locations for live music and shows. If you are diamond or higher the lounge is located on deck 4 past the forward elevators. Have a wonderful cruise and enjoy everything Anthem has to offer.

Sun Lover Posted February 15, 2022 #14 Share Posted February 15, 2022 Does anyone know if they have rock music cover bands in the music hall and, if so, which ones they've had recently?

They has an 80's cover band, Coyote, on the 1/31 sailing. They were pretty good but the house band High Voltage I thought was better. Really good.
