111222333 Posted February 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2022 I've read selected wine served with lunch and dinner. Can you have a glass of wine in the bars outside of meal times ?

One night, before covid, we celebrated one of life's little milestones, bought a bottle of good wine and were given it half-price. Hope that's still on offer! 🍷🍷 2
Rare Windsurfboy Posted February 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2022 See on my cruise (black sea ) premium spirits are made complementary, wonder if this is and indication that they are generally improving drinks offering. Hope they dpend just a few more pounds on wine. With their buying power this can make a big difference
lincslady Posted February 24, 2022 #6 Share Posted February 24, 2022 Certainly the spirits offered inclusively are not great, and compare unfavourably with the likes of Seabourn and Silversea, but the wines included are of about a similar quality, though with slightly less choice. The sherries, for those who like one before lunch, are of good quality, and I was pleasantly surprised to have Campari included on my last couple of Saga trips. With their buying power this can make a big difference I thought this decision was purely a form of compensation for the change in itinerary on this cruise. Nothing to do with the drink policy per se.
