Coconuts (https://www.coconutsfortlauderdale.com/) is very good but the dress is very casual ("Dress code: Shirt & shoes required. Please no beach/ fitness tops.")  Most of the dining is outside along the Intercoastal Waterway.  Sunday brunch is 10 am to 1 pm.

Boatyard (https://boatyard.restaurant/about/) is also a good choice offering dockside dining and serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.

Brunch is a thing in Fort Lauderdale for sure. You will need reservations! Louie Bossi's is a favorite for sure, and all of the hotels on Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd have decent brunches. Coconuts is the most casual probably, but no reservations, walk ins only.
