No Hairspray on Symphony

Called GS and were told several excuses...was then forwarded to Activities Manager...then the phone went silent...I hung up after waiting and had no answer.

 

Cruise Director just announced that tonight's show "Hiro" will be moved tp Friday night.

Ronn Lucas, ventriloquist  will be on again tonight.......love this guy, but 3 nights!....😶😶😶

I was on for the Thanksgiving sailing, and we saw Hairspray that week.

I was on Symphony during Thanksgiving week and they showed it then. It was a really good show. I think that and Grease are my favorites!

Over a month ago, someone who was on that ship said mid show, part of the display used in the show fell down and broke.

So either RCI can’t get it fixed or doesn’t want to get it fixed and used Covid as an excuse to save $$.

Wow, going on Symphony this Sat. & was planning on seeing "Hairspray" again!!!!

Just found this out! We were on in Oct'21 & saw it then-so great! Last week we were on Allure & saw the wonderful "Momma Mia"  Heard they've been trying to get a new cast. There is no excuse for no show, when they had plenty of time, if that is the case.

On a Symphony FB group I'm on, a member indicated that he had recently signed on with the Hairspray cast and that they would be starting onboard rehearsals on the April 30 sailing. Not sure how long after that they would actually re-launch the show, but that was the information he provided.
