transfer from Civitevecchia to Rome Airport

Does anyone have a recommendation on the best way to get from the port  to the airport? The train takes you into downtown Rome and from there you'd have to take another train to get to the airport.

Many, many recommendations here. We have used the wonderful Rome in Limo several times. There is a huge thread on them here.

There isn't a convenient public transit option.  For a direct transfer from port to airport your options are:

• cruise ship transfer
• private transfer
• shared transfer

Some of the transfer/tour companies offer shared transfers.  Or, if you have the time, many private transfers can include a sightseeing stop on the way to the airport.  Check out https://www.romecabs.com/

What day/ship are you transferring from the ship to the airport?
