The only time I see our cruise director Mike is at production shows.  I kind of miss Mike from the Oasis of the Sea now!

It’s something different.  Very talented!  Very bendy, very flexible!!  I cringed a few times with the body movement… you will see in the next clip!  Lots , lots , lots of tapping and very LOUD!!  A good show!

Same thing on Odyssey.  Loved the show, sat as far in the back as possible.  Knew it was going to be very loud.  And it was!!

Day 2 Solarium Bistro … Snack for me… the soup does change ( they serve whatever is being served at MDR / Windjammer).  The pumpkin bisque will be making another appearance later tonight!  The snapper is good but nothing like cook to order on the Oasis of the Sea.

 

Dinner at Solarium Bistro with the Med inspired starters and cooked to order mains is one of my favorites.  I'll be watching the future cruises closely to see if the usual concept is only missing due to this being the inaugural cruise.

Welcome aboard!  The fun just got started!!  You should… it is a beautiful ship still working out the kinks here and there but it is fabulous.

I started out my pictures in the starboard side and once the tug boat with the water cannon started to move I went to the port side.  I think if you want the best of both try to be aft the forward deck starboard side.  Get a spot by the railing and don’t move because it might get very crowded.

I guess like all “celebrities” once the camera is off you get a different type of attitude 😐… I overheard two bickering about the video they made, another two were all smiles in front of the camera but treated the staff like servants 😡.  But they could just be having an off day/time which happens but I still think you should be as pleasant as possible to the hardworking crew from Star Class to regular interior room guests.  We are all people!
