So we booked this cruise ar the height of the pandemic (are we allowed to say the P word).  😀. With about 35 other bookings, sadly most never came true.  We specifically picked this because it fit with other bookings, and we had never been on the ship and dis not know how long ahe will be around.  😭

So this whole trip is a little different.  We decided to fly up from ft myers (instead of drive), come up the day of (instead of the day before) and take Carnival transfers( instead of winging it and get creative).

Things we noticed right away.  The embarkation process is dynamically easier on a smaller ship.  We also used Verifly for bordi g.  Much easier than the last time.

Awe, the ole Elation, that was our honeymoon ship back in '98 out of Longbeach. I think she was 6 months old at the time.

Following.... We will be sailing her April 2. Last time on Elation was 2012 out of NOLA. Looking forward to your review. How was the Carnival shuttle to PC?

Typical and painless.  We walked over to the  Carnival desk and the bus was just leaving.   Only on A side.
