Scuba recommendation in Grand Cayman?

In hopes of keeping things simple, my husband booked a scuba excursion in Grand Cayman. It has been cancelled and he’s scrambling to see if he can organize something on his own for next week. Does anyone have a recommendation?  Thanks!

I cannot promise, since Grand Cayman is just opening back up for cruises, and things have been generally disrupted there throughout the pandemic; but Tom Shropshire at Off the Wall Divers would be who I would contact.  (https://offthewalldiverscayman.com/)

 

Before the shut down their shop/dock were very close to the cruise pier, and they would provide port pick-up and drop off.  I know they moved during the shut down, so I'm not sure what arrangements they'll make now, ,but I do know from their FB site they are in operation.  Tom is a great guy, so if he can I'm sure he'll set something up for you.

I'm pretty sure Eden Rock is open and a short walk from the cruise tender landing .... easy self guided shore dive(s) and I believe you can hire a guide it it makes you more comfortable

personally I prefer to head down the road a bit to Sunset House. Again a nice shore dive with full service dive shop. And added plus is My Bar for after ....
