Bringing bottles of wine onboard

Does NCL have similar policy as RCI when bringing 2 bottles of wine for free for personal consumption?

We've carried a case of wine onboard.  In the port there is a table that you need to stop at to pay the corkage fee, then you can carry the wine on board.  I would recommend getting some type of carrier if you are bringing half a case or more as my poor husband had to carry the box of wine all over until our room was ready.  We stored it in the closet and would put the bottles we wanted to drink in the fridge in the morning.  The fee is $15 for a single bottle and $30 for a double bottle.  Here's the link to to the NCL wine and champagne policy: https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/cruise-faq/can-i-bring-alcohol-board

All bottles are charged corkage, even the first two.

We prefer to bring onboard our own wine that way we know we'll be getting quality wine at a reasonable cost.

We brought six bottles onboard a couple of weeks ago.

If you like your own vintage wine bring it with you -

There is a corkage issue to be addressed -

After the security check point there is a corkage desk -

$15 for each liter or smaller bottle

$30 for each magnum or larger bottle

A corkage sticker is applied to each bottle

Your on board account is debited for the corkage charges - no cash payment

You are free to take your corkage paid wine anywhere on the ship

and you can request your cabin steward to furnish glasses and opener if you did not bring one

ALTERNATIVE PLAN "A" "B" or other

Buy you wine on board through a beverage package "VIVA VINO"

OR

Have one of the Premium beverage packages for wine by the glass

or by the bottle with the Premium PLUS package

OR

Buy your wine by the glass or bottle one time charge to your on board account

OR

Platinum Latitudes - one specialty dinner w/ wine included

Consider what works best for you and your back lugging the wine around and/or having

it served and stored in a wine vault awaiting your order.
