Cruise Travel Insurance

The value of insurance only comes into play when you need to claim.

Based on good experience with their car insurance we have used LV travel insurance for many years for cruises and land based foreign holidays, but we have never had to claim.

Needing insurance for a shorter trip to US later this year LV looked to be expensive, their cover was also OTT for what we needed.

Ended up going with Staysure.  OK so far, apart from the endless emails from them with offers, tips, etc

Depends on the type of cruise as well.  There are now instances of passengers on fly cruises falling into ship quarantine just before their cruise ends. They are being transferred into hotels to quarantine.  QM2 apparently had some removed in New York. Essential to ensure you have full Covid cover in these instances.  Cheapest may not be best.
