Amazing Deals While They Lasted!

After being cooped up in the great white north for two years and with the easing of re-entry testing and masking regulations, I decide to get back on the water. I go on-line to see what was on offer.  Well for those of you (in Canada at least) who may recall an old IKEA TV commercial with a lady in heals shuffling across the parking lots with bags in both arms yelling to her partner in the vehicle to, “START THE CAR. START THE CAR!” as she tries to get away with what she considers “Theft” with the prices being so low.   …I had that moment scrambling to retrieve my credit card on three recent bookings!

1. Four day cruise out of Long Beach on the fairly recently renovated Radiance in a SUITE for $150.00 plus fees pp.  (for the insides and views it was just cost of the port fees and the balconies were only $40+). Great cruise!  Amazing value. Only 1/3 full.

2. Seven day balcony cabin on the M.G. For $390.00. pp plus fees for around Easter. My wife and I can put up with a few lines if need be for that kind of coin if the ship ends up sailing full.

3. And probably the biggest vacation value I will likely ever see is the Nine day sailing of the Norwegian Fjords on July 1st on the Carnival Pride with my teenage son in a balcony cabin for the grand sum of $430.00 plus fees each!  Unreal.  The price literally tripled a minute after I booked it.  If you have ever been to Norway you will know how far $500 will get you with respect to food, lodging and some entertainment.

Thank you Carnival!

Cheers

We just got off the Radiance and paid 120pp for an extended L rear corner balcony. Best balcony we've ever had, even impressed our super diamond/elite/uber cruiser parents who have been on dozens of cruises! Our extra interior room cost more than the balcony!

After our Oasis cruise in October, we said we were done with Carnival for a while, but they keep sending amazing deals our way and it almost feels wrong NOT booking at these crazy prices!

We can get a 10 day Alaska cruise in an extended balcony for 4 people for $2300 in JULY over the 4th of July weekend. The same cruise 2 years ago was offered at $6k plus! SO tempted to book! And that's WITH drinks included on us in the casino (and we barely gamble).

We went on the Panorama in Oct. A month later, we received a promo for 2 people for $550 for TWO, balcony cabin! Wish we could've gone, amazing ship. My moms offer was for $700 for 2, but they cancelled due to the new covid surge at the time.

Forgot to mention: We jumped on a Celebrity cruise 6 months ago for a May 2022 cruise. 10 day Europe, drinks, wifi, tips, all for $5300 for TWO, INCLUDING air! Current price is about 8k! Glad we jumped on it!

Those are some great deals!  I'm over here excited because I this morning I put a hold on a Havana aft balcony on an 8 day southern Caribbean on the Vista for $1900.  Yesterday the price was over $3000 but today they started a new sale so I'm glad I checked it again.  Not nearly as amazing as your deals, but I'm still excited for the savings. 🙂  Just waiting for my PVP to call me back to complete it.

My best deals were Freedom aft wrap for $560 plus grats, Horizon Havana aft wrap for $900 -grats were included in that one.  I nabbed an extended bowling ball mid-ship balcony on Spirit (8 day) in January for $529.  Then we paid $1700 in June for 3 for balcony on Magic 8 day from NY, which is a pretty good price cruising from NY. (and we don't need airfare!)

Wow those are also some sweet scores as well. Congrats!  Feels goods!

It is 8.5 hours for me to get to Baltimore and bit more for Manhattan. But when you consider I am an hour from Pearson in Toronto, 2-3 hours in the airport, plus the flight and the transfers on the other side... the comfy seats in my one ton with no masks, taking shoes and belt off, etc, etc seems pretty good to me if you grab a hotel just short of the last stretch. I would cruise very often if I lived down south!  A big benefit for those lucky folks!  I hope to do a north east departure\road trip in the next year.

Cheers!

This literally made me laugh out loud!!  Totally how I felt too 🤣  I only wish I was retired too take advantage of all the offers I've seen.  Since the re-opening I've had the most INCREDIBLE deals (for me) and have tried to book as many as I can fit in with vacation time.  I'm pretty sure I won't ever get offers this good again. I've been able to take advantage of the following so far:

1.  Feb 2022 7-Night Panorama - free Havana inside cabin with $500 Funplay and free drinks everywhere on board for me (total cost for two - $467.72)

2. Oct 2022 4-Night Radiance - free Balcony cabin with $1000 Funplay and free drinks everywhere on board for me (solo trip - total cost $233.50)

3. Dec 2022 4-Night Radiance (for my Birthday and New Years!) - free Balcony cabin with $1000 Funplay and free drinks everywhere on board for me (total cost for two $439.72)

4. May 2023 9-Night Australia-South Pacific - free aft-extended balcony with $1500 Funplay and free drinks everywhere on board for me (total cost for two $550.50)

The total costs for each cruise was $200 non-refundable Deposit and the port fees & taxes.  Even more amazing... The $200 deposits were given back in OBC since the cabins were free.  They just ask for a deposit to confirm and hold the booking.  Crazy deals!!!!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

Marsha wins. Hands down folks. Nobody could beat that!?

How about a night in Vancouver with dinner and a Yuk Yuks show with a modest hotel.... “Survey Says?!”

thanks Marsha. That is some serious value!

The Radiance post refit is amazing 👍👍. Enjoy
