He would have to be going. Our stock is in my wife's name and I usually book under my name, but she is the other passenger.

Yep, this is us, but in reverse - stock is in DH's name, but all our cruises are booked by me.  So far, I've never cruised without him, so no problem.

I have a question, hopefully you all can help.  We are new to the shareholder business, but my husband has purchased the Carnival shares.  My question, do the names on the cruise and on the shareholder proof have to match?  I am taking my daughters on a quick get away next June to kick off my 60th birthday month!  He isn't going on this trip.  Would they approve the OBC for my cabin, or must it be to his name?  Just curious at this stage of the game.  Thanks!

Your name is nowhere on the financial institution's documentation? That might be tough then.

I applied by email on October 17th and I received the notice today (Nov 1st) that I received my onboard credit. I logged in on the Carnival website and it was there,

Grr.

I sent mine on October 11th for my November 19th sailing and nothing yet.

Welp. I don't think I'll even attempt to get the shareholder credit. I have a casino offer and an additional $500 in OBC lol.

Do it anyway. It seems to be hit or miss.  My husband re-submitted it today.

Why would I only get the lower amount? I have not submitted for the $100 yet.

I had $600 OBC for my Jan 2023 cruise and I am submitting for my $100 shareholder credit.  Haven't heard back (other than the quick email response saying they are looking into it) but it has only been two weeks.  Go ahead and submit a request.  Can't hurt.

What did you end up spending all the OBC on?

I bought a beautiful ring for myself. My husband bought a Citizen watch which he loves and wears every day. It doesn’t require a battery. I also bought 3 Victoria’s Secret lotions. I donated to St Jude’s and I received a T-shirt.

This was posted today. It says casino offers are allowed except for free cabins.

The following restrictions and limitations apply:

·         This benefit is available to shareholders holding a minimum of 100 shares of Carnival Corporation or Carnival plc.

·         The shareholder onboard credit is applicable with all promotions offered to the public, such as Early Saver, Pack & Go, 48 Hour Sale, etc., as well as VIFP targeted offers, Casino promotions (excluding ‘complimentary cabin’ offers) and more.

o    Excluded from this offer: Employee rates, Interline rates, travel agents cruising at travel agent rates, tour conductors or anyone cruising on a complimentary basis; complimentary (free) basis includes the following types of offers, but not limited to these: 1) complimentary ‘buy/get’ casino offers, 2) complimentary ‘buy/get’ VIFP targeted offers, 3) compensation offers from Guest Care.

I think he may have read that you were trying to get $200 since you have 200 shares. Yes, you should be able to get your $100 OBC for stock ownership in addition to the OBC you have from the cancellation.
