Mardi Gras and laundry

This December will be my first cruise without self serve laundry how has your experience been on the Mardi Gras?

We sent clothing to be laundered on Mardi Gras last week.  It was fine - we purposely only sent items that were not prone to shrinkage, etc. (as I've read complaints here that about that).  Mostly lounge wear and workout clothes.  We had our items back within 24 hours and everything was fine.

We sent out three bags of laundry during our cruise and everything was fine.  We got the first bag back the same day, but the other two took a day each.  We reached platinum that cruise, so it was free.

Okay good to know. You know the mesh little bags that you can put undergarments in will they keep them in there and put the whole mesh bag in the wash?

Pretty sure they stay in the bags, but came back folded in the bag
