In early September, yes. As September proceeds, you will start to see shops closing, services being reduced. But more after halfway through September.

This used to be the case, but as cruise lines have expanded the moneymaking Alaska season each year, more stuff is opening earlier and closing later in the season. HAL is running Alaska to the end of September 2022, and NCL is this close to offering *Halloween* sailing to Alaska in 2023. It's completely bonkers, especially with the potential for really poor weather and short days that late in the season.

5waldos Posted April 19, 2022 #30 Share Posted April 19, 2022 As long as the cruise ships are sailing I would imagine that many of the excursions will be available. They shut down when there are no people to take them or when weather precludes particular excursions.
