West Quay Cars or EC Minibus

Anyone used either of these for Heathrow to Southampton hotel? Good reviews on TripAdvisor but never see them mentioned on the boards. No interest in train or bus.

EC Minibus are based in London where there are dozens (hundreds?) of operators, so I'm not surprised that you don't see them mentioned on Cruise Critic.

 

West Quay Cars are long-established & reputable Southampton-based operators, and I've seen good feedback from a number of Cruise Critic members.

Thank you.  I like the idea of using a Southampton company and will book West Quay Cars.

If you are arrive early at the airport, you might do better with a London-based company.

Have a look at Aquacars.co.uk based in Portsmouth. Used them several times pre-Covid for trips to/from Southampton/Heathrow. Found them to be very good and surprisingly reasonable. Cheers!

I just use AC minibus for a group and they were fantastic. Very nice vehicles, excellent drivers. Excellent price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We are using West Quay this Saturday for transfer from Heathrow to our Southampton hotel. They come very highly recommended and were easy to deal with and very responsive.
