Greece will Remove All Restrictions

Travelers to Greece will no longer be subject to any pandemic-related travel restrictions from May 2. From this date, visitors will not be required to take a pre-travel test, enter quarantine or present any sort of Covid-19 documents to access the country, regardless of their country of origin.

I understand that currently Greece requires passengers on cruise ships to be masked when indoors. I wonder whether this is also being cancelled ?

@kool kruiser It is my understanding that masks required in ports of call are based on local government requirements and that the mask requirements on the ship are that of the specific cruise line.

The cruise line on which I am about to embark, Azamara, have stated that masks onboard are optional, except where required by a specific country. They specifically use Greece as an example but I wonder if this change will affect this requirement.

As of now, if you aren't in the 9 month window for your 2nd shot, and have not gotten a booster, the cruise line I'm sailing (RCI) says you must take a covid test before entering any Greek ports.  I wonder if that will change or not with the new updates.  Seems like things are changing so quickly.

Does anyone know if shops/sites like the Acropolis museum still require masks and/or proof of vaccinations.  We will be travelling in mid June
