Carnival Mardi Gras Excel Suite Room Service

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I searched and could not find an answer.

One of the Perks of being in an Excel Suite is Free Room Service.  I have seen a Room Service Menu for the Mardi Gras and it has a FREE SIDE and a Fee Side. I also see that their is a Fee for The Late Night Menu.  Do the Excel Suites get everything on the menu for FREE or is their a special menu for the Excel Suites?

I appreciate anyone that has sailed in one of these Suites clearing this up!

I believe @Tom-n-Cheryl posted that they were mistakenly charged for what should have been free room service?

Yep - supposedly no charge for room service, though in practice I don't know if that's yet automatic (somehow I doubt it, lol).

No special menu - and STILL can't get full breakfast in (even) those cabins... 😞

Just off mardi gras in the presidential suite.

No free water beyond the normal 2 big bottles suite or gold + offers.

Soda is no longer free in the room, charges full bar prices, you can get a opened can at a bar, or glass. Depends on what they feel like giving at that moment.

Sparkling water not available, told to get it from the bar.

Room service food is free, but coffee cost $3 a Pot plus service fee of $1.

Normal room service menu options, but make sure you tell them your supposed to get it free or they will charge you. Even with telling them they still managed to sneak a fee in.

On our recent Celebration sailing, we enjoyed several food items at no charge (Excel suite). We ordered coffee a few times, and it was also NC.

I think it's spelled out somewhere that beverages are not included (you will be charged) even if you have CHEERS, it does not apply through room service, no matter the cabin type.
