muffin Posted May 19, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2022 Tested positive for Covid. Rebooked cruise. Looking for a letter of recovery as then I don’t need to redo testing. Our physician does not do these letters. No help there with suggestions. Any ideas of where to access letter in BC or from BC..? I see one online source working from Quebec. $119.00 . Anybody used them? Any suggestions as to how to find this out appreciated. What a confusing mess this testing is……how I long for the olde days! rant over! muffin Posted May 29, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted May 29, 2022 If you are travelling on HAL this rule was relaxed May 19,2022. If you tested positive in a proctored or witnessed test at least 10 days before your cruise, but no more than 90 days before, you only need the original test results to show at boarding. This is on HAL on their TravellWell page of information. NO letter of recovery is needed. NOTE WELL!!!!!!!!!! This information is for HOLLAND AMERICA CRUISES FROM Canada to/ from Alaska only. Rare gnome12 Posted June 1, 2022 #8 Share Posted June 1, 2022 On this page you can get both Cruises from US and Canada as well as a PDF of Alaska and Canada cruise protocols. https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/worry-free-promise/travel-well/frequently-asked-questions.html The one linked in the previous post states that it is for cruises from USA.
