fill out and sign a declaration that you don’t have diseases, gastric, COVID related symptoms, etc.

Interesting...I haven't done that on any of my cruises since the restart but last one on NCL was in February (from Port Canaveral) so must be a change.

Enjoy your cruise...super jealous! 😉

Following along.  Will be on the Getaway in August.  Who is the concierge and lead bar tender in the Getaway Haven currently?

Concierge is Roel.  Great person so far.  Haven Bartender not sure who the lead is yet!  Will find out.

From time to time there seems to be inquiries about irons brought in board.  I don’t.

My two essentials for my cruise clothes are stain spotter and wrinkle release.

That’s the only “cruise” laundry trick you’ll ever see from me…;)

You’re welcome!

Thanks for sharing.  Getaway was my first NCL ship and has a soft spot in my heart.  Last sailing on her was November 2019...still looks to be in great condition.

She’s great!  Clean as a pin!

I’ve sailed a lot of cruise lines.  NCL always feels like family (in addition to PO-ing me sometimes)..

Safety Drill consists of watching the NCL video on your phone, getting your key card scanned at your assigned meeting point.  They just sounded the beeps.  And, there’s someone on the intercom saying something (we don’t know what because we’re at Syd  Norman’s) that our bartender had to stop serving drinks.  Announcement has been going on for at least 5 minutes.

Weird, but it sure beats the way they used to do it. 😉

@graphicguy Thanks for taking us along for the ride. We where the GA during Easter, there was a great cover band in Sid's playing Fleetwood Mac. We used the Haven perk to get in first, nothing better than a good band and a great drink.

Check in was quick and painless.  There were NCL folks checking VACCINE proof, Negative COVID TESTS and matched both to ID (my passport) before we got to the inside checkin area.

Checkin was the usual….Passport, ticket, fill out and sign a declaration that you don’t have diseases, gastric, COVID related symptoms, etc.

Butler(s) escorted us in small groups to the Haven.

30 minutes from hotel to setting foot on the ship.

Where was the Haven check in line?
