You dont get charged corkage at boarding.

You would only get charged if you bring the bottle to a bar or restaurant.

if you enjoy the wine in your stateroom, or even if you bring a glass out of your stateroom, no corkage

WRONG!

Guests are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages onboard; with the exception of embarkation day when each guests are permitted to bring onboard with them up to two (2) bottles of wine (which are subject to a corkage fee) per guest. A corkage fee does not apply to guests with the Classic Beverage Package or Premium Beverage Package.

What's WRONG with the statements other than adding "public areas on the ship" in addition to bars/restaurants.  Asking for a friend.  😉

The new rule of two bottles per person and no corkage if you have drink package. Nice to have a new rule that favors the passengers.

OH, then they were right for pax with no beverage package?  Isn't the new rule 2 bottles per person, and if you have the beverage package, there is no corkage to bring it into public areas?

You can also pour your wine in your stateroom and carry the glass of wine to any venue with no issues.

No need to pour. Amazon has these:

Post #19 shows the exact language from the Cruise Ticket” I just received. It clearly says no corkage for anyone with a beverage package and the corkage MAY be charged for others if brought to dining room, bar or dining venue.

Nothing new. Been that way ever since Celebrity started allowing passengers to bring on two 750 ml bottles of wine at the embarkation day/port.

Could someone who has recently sailed advise about their experiences with bringing wine on board? Is it two bottles per stateroom or two bottles per guest? Going to try and call to get info but would like to hear from someone who has recent experience.  Going on the Eclipse in September to Canada/New England.  Thanks in advance! Gram

This is from our Cruise Documents for next month.

"Guests are not allowed to bring beer or hard liquor onboard for consumption or any other use. Guests wishing to bring personal wine onboard with them on embarkation day may do so, limited to one (1) bottle per guest, but when consumed in any shipboard restaurant, bar or dining venue, each bottle shall be subject to a corkage fee of $25.00. A corkage fee does not apply to guests with a Classic Beverage Package or Premium Beverage Package."

As @bigbenboys says, the answer is in your cruise documentation.  1 bottle per guest of legal age (21 if sailing from the USA).
