Tours post cruise ending in Whittier/Anchorage?

Looking for best excursions after embarkation in Whittier before flight out of Anchorage that night?

Also what is your flight time and what are you interested in.  How do you plan to get from Whittier to Anchorage.  What time does your ship get in.  How much money do you want to spend on the excursion.  How mobile are you.

My choice would be the 26 Glaciers Cruise. 2nd choice would be to catch the Glacier Discovery train from the Alaska Railroad and do the Grandview  trip.

But of course all of that depends on your flight time from Anchorage.

The Grandview trip is a wonderful suggestion regarding a frequently missed excursion option from Whittier.  They could also do the iceberg rafting tour on the same trip, if available.

Not an inexpensive option, but certainly one of the "best." A 6 hour tour from Whittier to Anchorage. Salmonberry Tours is a wonderful company, used them and would recommend!
