Question about stockholder benefits

Looking into buying 100 shares of NCL to get OBC. When I send in my brokerage's monthly statement, can I redact all other holdings and info except showing we have 100 shares of NCLH?

Yes, Just redact everything except the NCLH info. We have been enjoying this OBC for years.

Yes that is what we do. Never any issue. Just make sure you leave the date of the statement visible. They get picky if it it missing or too old.

You can also do multiple cruises at a time (fill separate form for each cruise).  Super easy

Don’t send them the stock, just a statement showing the shares of stock.  If you want to send the stock,,,, please send here first.

 

it takes a day or two at most to post.  I usually send it in after final payment is done.

If you're buying the stock for the first time, instead of waiting for a monthly statement just send them the trade confirmation.  They'll happily take that and it's got everything they'll need on it (just black out the account number).  I've never had to wait more than a day or two, and if I submit it during biz hours I usually have it back within a few hours.

This is my first time emailing ncl and I send in my stock purchase with account number blacken out on Tuesday on 6/7/22 but I did not get a response back and I also looked on my ncl summary and do not see any OBC. 
 

so just wondering if it will somehow show up when I get on board.  Maybe it’s too soon since I sail on 8/29/22

Suetravel, I'm on the same page. I email the forms on Tuesday 6/7 haven't received anything other than email with case number.

Slightly off topic. Can someone clarify what the shareholder obc can be used for? I'm assuming not gratuities and not casino. Appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

I sent mine in on Saturday 5/21 and received an email back showing the obc on Monday 5/30.

If I were you I'd hold on to my money.  I'm down way more than the measly $100 I'm gonna get.....

A day or two. Mine are usually processed next day. You will get an updated Amenities confirmation with the OBC noted. They will split the OBC between Passenger #1 and Passenger #2, but if you have a joint account, it doesn't matter. 

 

We have 4 NCL cruises this year, so that's $400 in OBC for us.

Not if I bought at Friday's price. Even if I paid $15/share, I will "break even" with fewer than fifteen 7-nt cruises assume NCL stays in business that long. If NCL bounces back or someone buys NCL, the payback period will be shorter.

I'm also still waiting, 1st email June 1st. Got reference email, after a week I sent an email regarding reference # and got a new reference number!! Seems like a revolving door!!

If the stock goes under $10/share I may purchase...just want to buy as low as it'll go. Definitely not buying it if it's over $15 as I don't know if I'll ever cruise 15 times. Ten times is doable, but 15 seems like a lot of cruising!

If you sell at the same price or better compared to purchase price, you profit even if you cruise just one time.

Update: they finally responded this morning and requested additional info. I provided so hopefully I'll have my OBC shortly.

Last time I applied it took a couple weeks to show up on my account.  That was about a month or two ago.  The time before that it took a couple days.

If the stock goes under $10, I will triple my shares. I have a loss to recover.

Got the Amenity email back today, received OBC for the august sailing.  I guess it could take up to a week to get a respond but some people get it sooner.
