We saw on-line that Geoff’s caye is closing for a few months, anyone else hear of this? What other options are available like this in Belize, never been there before.

I didn't hear anything specific but if they're closing for a few months it would probably be to make some improvements or upgrades. The  Goffs Cay excursion has become incredibly popular. I'm not sure when I return to Belize I would do anything else. We had a blast there a couple of times. 😉

Some of the nicest water in Central America bar none. 👍👍

This is what I found when I searched a few months back:

"The one-acre sand barrier island Goff's Caye, popular for island hoppers and cruise ship guests alike, officially closes visitation until October 2022. Goff's Caye is currently under reconstruction, and as such, the island is off-limits to visitors.May 5, 2022"

Looking at photos, it doesn't look like much shade for people like me to escape the sun??
