It sounds like there are not too many CC events to even look forward to.  There used to be a general party for all CC members, with dancers and music and food.  There was a cocktail party with senior officers…….what’s left?

They had the Senior Officers event on Silhouette May this year.

Lisa put an end to the CC HH before Celebrity restarted cruising after the pause.

What a shame. We always enjoyed them and meeting other cruisers..we've made friends there along the way.  Guess I won't miss the big rush to get a seat!!! 🙂

Considering a Celebrity cruise and we will be Elite status.  Is there a limit to the number of drinks you can get per day?

Elite status has no effect on beverage limits.  The limits on Celebrity are they will not serve you if you appear intoxicated.   There is no specific limit on how many drinks.

We have never taken advantage of the Elite happy hour because we have always had a drink package. We will be doing a comped cruise and we did buy the premium package last time, but going to try to go without it this time. My question is…..I’m a vodka drinker and also gluten free. They vodka they offer on the HH is Absolut and I can’t drink that. Smirnoff and Tito’s are also classic options. Has anyone been in the same boat and able to substitute the vodka? I have asked others and told no. I would think that Celebrity would make exceptions for allergies. I haven’t asked on the ship yet, so might just have to wait,  but wondered if anyone had experience with it.

Thanks so much for this current info.  We sail Summit in July.  It's our first time on Celebrity so we probably won't notice any cutbacks since it will all be new to us.  We are Elite so I will make sure we check out the Captains Club events.  Sad this info wasn't given to you moment one.

What time did Tuscan Grill open for breakfast?

Opens 8 to 10.  Entry to Tuscan grill is off the aft elevators.

Elite free drinks are between 5 and 7 pm daily and from a limited posted menu. No limit during those hours except if they need to cut you off. No free drinks on the day you board. I f you have a drink package then you can drink all day long

All distilled spirits are gluten free.  Gluten cannot pass through distillation.  Now some spirits have stuff added post distillation that might contain gluten, but as long as it's not a flavored vodka it's gluten free.

I know that's the policy, but my experience is that you will be served as long as you aren't both intoxicated and acting like a jack---.  They also are very good about asking folks to slow down.  They also don't mind getting cutting you off or getting security involved if you are the sort of person who doesn't take wise advice well.

Sorry, but this isn’t true. There are many vodkas that aren’t gf. This post is very old and I have found that I would be able to have Smirnoff or Tito’s, but we did purchase the premium drink package so all good

Vodka is Gluten free - you could do some research on subject and find out the real answer.  I happen to be a Certified Spirits Specialist through the Society of Wine Educators.

I’m not going to argue with you. It’s not all gluten free. Why do you think that brands such as Tito’s label theirs as gluten free? Trust me, I suffered from migraines for 25+ years not knowing that I had a wheat allergy.
