It makes total sense to some. A couple of martinis or glasses of champagne, bottled water and coffees more than cover the cost. We wouldn’t sail without it. It would cost us a fortune if we didn’t have the package and we aren’t heavy drinkers 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think I know the answer to this question, but need an answer in writing. I have been on a Celebrity cruise to Alaska and know that the casino is open. Is it the same for Princess? We are sailing Princess next year for my parents’ 60th anniversary and they want to make sure that the casino will be open on any sea days and after we sail from ports (like any other cruise). I told them yes, but they are still concerned.

We weren’t in the retreat, but did sail on the Summit a few weeks ago and it was it wonderful condition. We prefer the S class ships, but still liked the Summit.

We spend a lot in the casino and have never heard of fhis. She must’ve lost a LOT of $$ for them to offer that to her. We often get offers for free cabins, but never a suite.

Not sure who to call. I did call who I think was Retreat. They said that it should be ok, but that didn’t give me much confidence. There were 6 cabins available and 1 left. I’m not sure they would give that one up if someone might want to purchase a late cruise. Who knows. Just such a bummer that this happened.

Well…..bid was accepted, but we lost it because my cc had been compromised so the payment didn’t go through. So frustrating. I did give them another payment, but not sure it will help 😢

I have never noticed anyone dress any fancier on European cruises.

Love Happy in the casino. His girlfriend works there too. We were on the cruise before you and the casino was always full. There were a lot of casino comped passengers, so that is likely why.

We were on the 5 day cruise before the current one. While not in the same order, we had menus 1-3 and 5. I don’t see the other menu that we had in any of those posted

I would also like to know if they got the RS. I had 4 bids in for our upcoming cruise next month. I went in to modify the price and 3 were expired and one shows pending and can’t be modified. Have no idea what this means

The martinis on Edge are $20 only because the ship is in Australia and the gratuity is included . This only happens when sailing from Australia and Southampton, but if you have the premium package they are covered. Everywhere else they are $17 and covered by the premium package…….also, no signing is needed if within package, I think that was tried for a day or two and failed miserably.

Murano 100%! We do like Tuscan and Lawn Club Grill as well, but Murano is our very favorite.

I just called BCC. They told me that whatever cabin is booked is the points earned. If your comped room is an interior you will only get 2 pts/nt even if you pay to upgrade to a Veranda, Concierge, etc. I have to believe what she told me because we have taken 4 comped cruises so far. One was Dec 2022, two were Dec 2023 and one was April 2024. For each of them I paid to upgrade cabins and didn’t get the extra points. Not sure how some of you are getting the points, but you are very lucky!

I would go with Reflection. It doesn’t matter what ship it is, a balcony is much better than OV……imo….

When did he go to Silhouette from Summit? We just sailed Summit before then Silhouette TA and he wasn’t the Captain on Summit
