Rare trafaelwyr Posted June 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2022 I'd read somewhere that the main screen on Liberty of the Seas was not working. Can anyone confirm this? If so, how have they worked around it and when will it be fixed?

firefly333 Posted June 16, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2022 Status has been and still is this will NOT be fixed. It's too old to get parts for. They said perhaps if liberty is dry docked it will be replaced. It hasnt worked since restart and no plans to fix. Cant be fixed.
cruisegus Posted June 16, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2022 work around has been movies in theater and other smaller venues around the ship. other than that there is not much else they can do as a workaround.
Lane Hog Posted June 16, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2022 Yup, it's been down for over a year apparently. Probably the biggest negative from our cruise on Liberty back in February. The TV room next to the theater was where they were showing movies, which had all sorts of hallway noise and not a whole lot of seating...
Coralc Posted June 16, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2022 IMO, the pool screen on Navigator should be turned off as well. It is green all over with orange squares scattered around. It is horrible trying to watch anything.
Jam0610 Posted June 17, 2022 #7 Share Posted June 17, 2022 Have friends on her this week. They said so far it is not working.
Rare trafaelwyr Posted June 17, 2022 Author #8 Share Posted June 17, 2022 Thanks to all who have replied on this. Well, that's a bit of a bummer. I enjoyed seeing something out on the big screen when I was in the pool or jacuzzi. No telling when the ship will go into drydock - however, it's my understanding is that October of this year will be the final time for Liberty in Galveston where it will then be replaced by Allure. Everyone on the screen looks green. All the way back to early March.
