Scoup Posted June 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2022 I thought this would be "fall - Autumn" weather ..... temps in 65-75 ?? But it looks like normal temps range 45-65? Being on the coast will be windy? I'm wondering if I should rethink my packing from sweaters to coats? sneakers to boots? any suggestions?

mets123 Posted June 20, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2022 Bring layers to be prepared for anything. We went to Canada on the Oasis on June 5and the nights dropped to about 50. The Aqua shows were cancelled many times due to cold temperature and winds. You just never know.
Sox Fan Cruiser Posted June 21, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2022 October? It could snow. We have trick or treated when it was freezing. And you are going north of Boston. Absolutely you should bring winter garb! 1
Sox Fan Cruiser Posted June 21, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2022 Autumn in New England is not 65-75. And October is not “autumn” for us. We have started on winter.
Nitemare Posted June 22, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Agreed. October in Massachusetts I hope for highs in the 60s but expect highs in the 40s and am pleased when it is in the 50s

Bob121 Posted June 25, 2022 #8 Share Posted June 25, 2022 Depends where you are, if you’re headed to Canada I hate to disappoint you but mid 70s is summer weather on the coast.
Susan in Maine Posted July 4, 2022 #9 Share Posted July 4, 2022 Boots, no. Shoes and socks, yes. Sweatshirt - definitely yes. It's the time of year that it could be mid-to-upper 70's during the day and 40's at night. If it's misty/foggy/damp it will feel REALLY cold. Plan on lots of layers One other thing - the ocean water up here is REALLY cold!
