I can not talk about the online purchase, but can confirm for everyone asking about how much fun it is or is this real, that the game is 100% legit. I was just a winner of $1,000 my last cruise on Celebrity Edge debarking Dec 22. 2022. It was exciting and fun. The part that can get crazy for everyone else that plays, is you have a “STRONG” possibility of earning casino cash!!! I did each game day. Then they get you in the casino to pick up your chips you earn and you go play and you know what “Usually” happens, you spend MORE money in the casino!! Lol

I'm looking at the Captain's Club benefits and it says complementary D or No D bonus card with purchase.  I'm Elite and it says you get 1 card with purchase of a 3-pack.  Do you know if I can call the CC and get that benefit applied prior to sailing, like you can with the premium drink package discount?  Or do I have to be on board to get it?

Right now in the Cruise Planner they price is listed as 31.99 for a 3-pack, regular price of 39.99.  The 4-pack is on sale for 39.99.  If I can't get the benefit until I am on board, then I might as well buy a 4-pack right now for 39.99 because it is the same as buying the 3-pack onboard for 39.99 with 1 free.  I assume they don't ever have any markdowns on the packs once onboard.

I also had this question before our Apex cruise on the 17th of December and decided to wait to purchase onboard. I asked the casino cashier whether you'd get the bonus card if you pre-purchased and she said yes. However, I saw a post on a social media group that someone was unable to obtain the bonus card for the pre-purchased option, so it is ship dependent which makes no sense.

People reported successfully getting the bonus card with the pre-purchased package on Apex and Beyond. No bonus on Eclipse. That's all I've heard of so far. I'd talk to the loyalty desk if I got denied since it's not spelled out in the benefit chart.

I was able to get the extra card benefit on the Constellation, but not the Reflection.

My wife and I played this on the Millennium in October.  Sure there is a grand prize of a free Cruise.  the rest of the prizes were Casino credit of different amounts.  They take a lot of money for you to play and then the prizes are things that don't really cost them much and in fact provide an opportunity to make more money by staying in the Casino or spending on that free cruise.

Bingo at least provided a cash prize

Maybe it is different on other ships, but based on that we won't be dealing any more  🙂

I played on the Solstice last month and was picked to select cases. Won a whopping $90 LOL. At least I turned a profit. 🙂

Someone else in the same game won a free cruise in the free spin.

How do they pick who gets to play?

Randomly using the unique numbers printed on each Deal or No Deal card, which are linked to your seapass card when you buy the cards.

We waited to buy the cards on board. We bought the 3 pack for $39 and got one free. We used my husband's account. You can only use the "1 free" offer one time per cruise per person. They said that deal was only available on board and not on cards purchased prior to boarding. It even said that on the Elite benefits paper that was left in our room.

On the first day my husband was chosen to open cases. The woman before him got $5. My husband got down to the last two cases and it could either be 25 cents or $125. His case had $125! On our cards we won $60 in casino credit.

On the other day we bought the same number of cards using my account. We didn't win anything.  The person who spun the wheel had been married 61 years. He won a free cruise.

We bought the four-pack online for our Infinity cruise in January. After going to the casino to pick up our cards and getting settled and ready to play, it was cancelled! Not enough cards were sold! We did get a refund but were a little irritated that we lost an hour of our time! We took advantage of being in the Constellation Lounge to have a cocktail 🍸

My last cruise, we pre-purchased 2 of the 3 packs.  They were playing twice on our cruise, so our intention was to use one set each day.  When I gave my card, they automatically pulled us up for all six.  After I explained, they reloaded one set to my husband's card.  You cannot buy the 3-pack deal and split those 3 up, but can by more than one set and use on different days.  We found the next time it was easier to buy one set on my card and one on his so they did not try and use all 6 at once.  We just swiped one card for one session and the other for the next.  When you prepurchase, you pick the person you are buying for just like dining or shore excursions.  Hope this helps!

Thanks! This answers my question

It is a total rip off. You have to be desperate for entertainment. Only one person gets picked out of dozens who paid substantial money to play and end up, maybe getting a free photo. Just my opinion. I’d rather throw it in a slot machine.

Sounds like BINGO is better..everyone plays!
