Harvogel Posted July 3, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2022 My grandchildren want to swim with the dolphins in Nassau but I heard that there are a lot of jelly fish there that really give nasty stings. Has anyone experienced this recently? I don’t want their cruise ruined because of stings.
Rare twangster Posted July 3, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2022 Jelly fish vary in the open ocean but in the swim with a dolphin enclosures there shouldn't be any jelly fish.
neverbeenhere Posted July 3, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 3, 2022 The tour operator doesn’t want jellyfish in the area either. also note: treat strings with vinegar, NOT urine or bottled water.

However, they do allow dolphins to be kept in small inhumane enclosures so that people will spend a ridiculous amount of money to “swim” with them. Wouldn’t want any humans getting temporary discomfort from a sting while the dolphins are permanently trapped in a cage for purposes of making money. Hard to believe this industry still exists. Now people, for some unknown reason to me, take tours and pay money to get their picture taken holding a petrified sloth who people erroneously think is smiling.
