I know from reading posts there are many very savvy techies out there and I need help.

When I log in I can get all the way until I choose a cabin and I get an error message." We apologize for the inconvenience . Something has gone wrong and we are unable to continue to the next step. Contact a Princess Specialist." This has been happening for several weeks. I have tried using Safari and Chrome. I have used multiple devices. I even tried logging in on my husbands account. Called Princess several times and I get the same answer " We are working on It"

I think there is more to it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sitting on the phone to book is a waste of time when I could do it myself.

I really don't have any words of wisdom here other than have you maybe tried the Live Chat feature if available? I wanted to book a Window Suite for an Alaskan cruise last Friday but the Princess website only showed one suite available but I knew from searching come 'big box' travel agencies that all of the Window Suites were available except the handicap one. I tried the Live Chat and was able to book the cabin I wanted and the agent placed the booking on hold. I logged in later with the Booking Confirmation number the agent provided and made my deposit payment. Just a thought.

Have you tried not logging in until after you select your cabin? I have no idea why you're not able to do it logged in, but if you're always logged in when you get the error, then it might be worth trying without logging in.

Could this be a cruise that is in the process of being updated or changed?

Example: Changing ships like from the Emerald to the Regal?  Or, the Enchanted TA which has shortened from 16nt to 14nt?  There are many changes going on and protections on ships for the passengers who were booked on them, then they will open them to others to book online.  You would have to book it with a TA, CVP or call in to a PCL at tjis time. They can do it.

If not. Sign out and sign back in.

I always say that Princess' website has plenty of personality. They have coding that does some really odd things from time to time, and I think this is the case here. 😃

Probably something corrupted in your Princess database records which may need manual intervention by Princess DB administrator to fix.

Some good ideas above to try and fix the behavior.

But, now that you have a booking, you do need to get someone at Princess and perhaps even ask for a senior agent.  See, you do need to have your Captain's Circle Member number attached to your booking.  There may be a lower fare you are eligible for that will only "show" or "work" with having your Member number there which also includes your geographic location (to which some offers are attached).

Someone at Princess needs to review your CC Profile with you and see if they have a bad data field.  This is assuming none of the ideas above work to get you logged in.

You might also try "I forgot my password" even though you have not and let it send you an email to reset the password.  For certain, clear princess.com cookies before doing that and clearing cache good idea as well.

Thank you Steelers36. You are absolutely right. I didn't think about that. I will get back on the phone and have my booking reviewed.

It shouldn't be this difficult to go cruising!

Also, I sincerely thank all those who chimed in with advise.
