cruisebabe50 Posted July 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2022 We are booking a Northbound Alaska cruise on Radiance for July 2023. Any suggestions for transportation to Anchorage for after the cruise? Thanks!

Seville2Cabo Posted July 6, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2022 There is a train from Seward to Anchorage. There are also a few bus tours that pick up at port and drop off at airport after about 8 hours.
linaka625 Posted July 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2022 I used ACT (Alaska Cruise Transportation) in June. They take you to Anchorage by bus, and you have the option to do some sightseeing along the way. Great trip!
HicksRA Posted July 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2022 Call Royal and book their sponsored train from Seward to Anchorage. You’ll be glad you did.

We can only get red eyes home, so we're good with an all day tour, if we can book one.
Ashland Posted July 6, 2022 #7 Share Posted July 6, 2022 We've done both the ACT when we've had an early flight time and also the cruiseline booked train transfer. With the train you must book directly with the cruiseline and your flight home out of ANC can be no earlier than 2:30pm.
cruisebabe50 Posted July 6, 2022 Author #8 Share Posted July 6, 2022 Thanks everyone! In 2016 when we did the Southbound trip We did the train.. We actually did 3 legs of it. Started in Fairbanks then to Denali and then to Anchorage and to Seward. It was a lot of train time for me, although the last leg from Anchorage to Seward was probably the most beautiful part. That sounds like a good plan. I will look into that. Thanks again!
