Sky Deck 10?

We just booked a short 4-day to the Bahamas over Thanksgiving to burn an expiring credit. Our cabin is on Deck 10--right under the Garden Cafe. Should I see if our TA can get us a cabin on Deck 9? Worried about noise being an issue.

Aside from loud music and/or talking late at night, the noises that bothers me the most, are the chairs and tables being moved around in the early morning hours. (Cleaning of the area and replacing chairs/tables into position).  I now travel with earplugs for that reason.

But, if I can get a lower deck, I am a lot happier!

We have been under the Garden Cafe on many cruises (not specifically the Sky) and have not had any problems. If you are worried, then move.

I just booked a spur of the moment weekend cruise.  I had some airline credit which was expiring and a "free" casino offer, so why not throw good money after bad? 🙂

Anyway, I have an inside cabin on Deck 10 a bit behind the aft elevators.  Looking at the Deck 11 plan, I'd be beneath Garden Cafe/Entourage Teen Club but on the interior.  It's not explicitly labeled but would I be correct to assume that's the buffet seating area?

It's a 3 day and I probably won't be spending a ton of time in my room so I'll probably just live with it unless it's going to be REALLY bad.

We just sailed a 5 day itinerary on the Sky and had balcony cabin mid/aft on deck 10 directly under the Local bar, which is open till 5am and it was quiet as can be in our cabin and we are both light sleepers. No issues and it’s a great location to easily pop up to the GC for a snack, drink or water.

We are also on deck 10, but on the starboard fwd portion. The noise that we are getting is the slamming of the doors 🚪.  I'm going to hope that people will settle down soon.  Thank heavens for earplugs. Let's hope that they work.

Feel free to reach out to Zack Tennant, if you'd like to meet some native Floridans while on board.

So... we are home and we will say this:

1. The bars 🍸 were quiet as mice 🐁

2. The pool deck 🏊‍♂️ gave us the impression there was a heard of elephant 🐘 up there.

If you want to sleep 💤 in, or nap 😴 during the day.... bring really good earplugs.  The noises aren't just from the deck above.  The walls on the Sky are paper thin. 🤨😬🤐

We will not book this deck ever again.
