Tina99 Posted July 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2022 (edited) I recently returned from my first Diamond level cruise. My points were 81 on boarding Allure, and I booked a balcony just for me (I wanted to cruise solo and the price was fantastic). Planning my next cruise, my points are now at 105. The list of C&A benefits does not indicate more than 1-for-1 points, so why did my points increase so much? Please know I am most certainly absolutely thrilled about it, though. UKWLDCruise Posted July 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2022 you get a second point for being a solo cruiser and really paying for two people anyway. you don't get them if you get a single cabin or a special solo deal though.
poocher Posted July 10, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2022 More information needed. If you booked as a solo, you get 2 points per night. If you booked while RC was offering their double points promotion, you’d have gotten 4 points per night. So you got 24 points, was it a 6 night cruise? broadwaybaby123 Posted July 10, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2022 It's hard to give advice when so little information was given. For example: 1.) Booking date: was it done when we were getting double points? 2.) Cabin category: each category has a certain number of points associated with it per night 3.) Were you a solo traveler? Another_Critic Posted July 10, 2022 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2022 Most likely a 6 night cruise booked on/before 9/30/21 or a 12 night cruise booked after 9/30/21.
Tina99 Posted July 10, 2022 Author #7 Share Posted July 10, 2022 So sorry for not including this info. It was a six-night cruise. I don’t know if there was a double-points promo at time of booking. All of you have been very helpful. Thank you 😊

Thank you 😊 Cruises booked no later than 9/30/2021 and sailing by 12/31/2022 get the double points promotion. Normally a solo cruiser booking a double occupancy cabin gets 2 points per night and if in a junior suite or full suite an additional point for 3 per night. So with the double points promotion you would get 4 points per night in a balcony or 6 points per night in a JS or higher.
