Platinum meal - Encore only.

On the Encore - has anyone had any luck getting the platinum meal of Los Lobos or Q replaced with a different restaurant?

Los Lobos is some of the best food on the ship. 

 

Technically no. The Encore options are clearly printed on the voucher. However, at this instant in time, Cruise Next may allow the substitution of another restaurant because other platinum benefits are not being offered because of COVID. If they allow substitutions, there will be a notice left in your room. CN has been doing all kinds of different things including giving OBC. Every time we sail, it is something different.

Don't sleep on Los Lobos. I seriously think it's the best meal I've ever had on a cruise ship.

I did not expect to be wowed, but I was wrong. Guacamole is fabulous, and I agree on the corn, but don't miss out on the Queso Fundido and the Tacos El Pastor!!

Los Lobos is soooooo good. Don't change for another restaurant.

 We always book it first when pre scheduling speciality’s.

-only reason I would think someone would not love Los Lobos is that they do not care for Mexican food.

I will be the dissenting opinion here, maybe because I live in the Southwest, but I found the food to be somewhat bland without much flavor. That being said, I do go and pay out of pocket for the tableside guac and possibly a quesadilla to go along with my Margarita.  Best meal I have had on the Encore is in Onda...they have a white pizza that we still talk about (and no one at our table ordered it...they brought it to us complimentary).
