I took the photo below while aboard a ferry during our visit in September 2019. P&O Cruises Australia Pacific Explorer is docked at Overseas Passenger Terminal. Straight ahead are Circular Quay wharfs for ferry service. The Circular Quay Railway Station is just behind the wharfs. It's a short walk between Overseas Passenger Terminal and Circular Quay wharfs/Railway Station. Ride various ferries around to Luna Park Sydney, Darling Harbour/Pyrmont Bay (Australian National Maritime Museum, Crown Casino, Star Casino), or Taronga Zoo. Several offer different photo ops for Harbour Bridge that you can't get from the cruise ship. I have previously posted the picture below in another CC thread. This photo was taken near the Milsons Point Wharf ferry stop, just outside Luna Park Sydney. Yup, that is Pacific Explorer at Overseas Passenger Terminal. Large cruise ships don't sail under Harbour Bridge, so if you want this perspective, take a ferry. If you're up for it, I highly recommend the Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk. You can see the bow of a cruise ship at the top of the picture. Thank you. Still deciding if we should walk (2 of us each have a large 28" and 22" luggage) or take a taxi from our hotel (Four Seasons) to the Princess check-in area on a Tuesday morning in early April. It is really an easy walk. About 500 metres and pretty flat, before I started using a wheelchair even I could probably have done it.
