Will Luggage Valet Return?

Wondering if Celebrity will bring back the luggage valet service. We have found it a great service and am hoping to have it available for our Equinox cruise out of Fort Lauderdale in October.

I agree really miss it, hope it does return, flying seems such a hassle now.

Flying is such a hassle anyway these days, but yes, we would also very much like to see a return of this useful service!

 

Since early questions about contact spread of COVID have been resolved, one wonders why this likely lucrative business hasn't restarted.

Like Cruise Critic gatherings, was this service perhaps halted at Celebrity's insistence?

Really?  Got to have the airlines cooperate and lots of issues relating to restrictions that are covid related.

Celebrity liked it as the bags were coded alike and off they went.

With the handling restrictions not very lucrative.   Also the issue that most tickets do not include baggage fees and different for everyone based on status.  Doubtful it will return anytime soon.

And yes I loved it and used it

Princess has been doing their version of Luggage Valet (EZ Check) in Fort Lauderdale since early in 2022. We used it 2/12/22 at PE.

Since the service is available again on some other lines and some U.S. ports, it would seem that all of that is already in place.
