What happens if you are still testing positive from previous Covid infection?

Recommended Posts

My son might have Covid.  Was tested at Kaiser today.  We sail on 8/12 out of Los Angeles.  What happens if he is still testing positive 2 days before sail date but is no longer considered contagious?  Hopefully someone else here has experienced this and can help.

He needs to get a documented PCR positive test now. (MUST be a PCR test)
If he is still testing positive nearer to the trip, you will need a “Certificate of Recovery” letter from his physician as well as the dated PCR test.
Get the test ASAP,  timing is critical.

We got the test today. Hopefully it won’t be a problem. Thank you so much for the advice.
