NavyCruiser Posted July 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2022 With HAL's no testing policy for Rotterdam: "Holland America Line has lifted testing requirements on some sailings aboard HAL Rotterdam. Guests on cruises departing July 10, July 17 and July 24 can skip pre-cruise tests." So how's it going so far, any issues? Any positive or negative news? Any more of less positive tests while during & after cruise? I know it's still early for accurate conclusions, but hopefully HAL will extend this no-testing requirement to more future cruises, as ours' in 2 months... NavyCruiser Posted July 19, 2022 Author #2 Share Posted July 19, 2022 CDC just ended cruise ship program today. https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/cruise/index.html So hopefully, HAL will continue to not require pre-cruise testing for all sailing soon...

And what about the countries, like Canada, that require tests?

aa7yy Posted July 19, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2022 I certainly hope that they continue to test. I agree that testing is not accurate especially if you have flown since your test but do not consider it a hardship for a "little" more protection.
