disneyochem Posted July 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2022 I’m not sure how to ask this but we are booked on the Heart of the Rockies Land Cruise Tour next June. The land portion starts in Calgary on June 3 and ends with us boarding the Majestic in Vancouver on a north board voyage to Whittier. We’d like to turn the cruise portion into a B2B and just head back to Vancouver. Has anyone done this? I’m thinking we can probably link the two bookings but not combine them. Also, how is the turnaround handled in Whittier? Will we have to get off or can we stay on since we will have cleared customs leaving Vancouver? TIA! Did the turnaround in Whittier a few weeks ago, and other than getting a letter and "Transit" card (to help self-identity if you did leave the ship to walk around) in my cabin a few days earlier, it was no different than a port day. No need to gather anywhere, no doing the TV muster again, etc. Mind you in my case it was a single 14-day journey, whereas you might need to go out and back in because you're technically doing another leg (with a new medallion). skynight Posted July 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Just book the two cruises. They will automatically be linked. If you don't want to change cabins select your cabin and have your booking marked no upgrade. As pointed out no need to go through an immigration procedure in Whittier like the ones required in all other US ports. This is because you go through US immigration in Vancouver before you board. Whittier will be just another port day.
