I am entitled to 250 dollars for holding carnival shares.

I have sent all the required information to the email address in the uk:

benefits@princesscruises.co.uk

They simply do not respond. My cruise starts in 22 days time.

What  can I do?  What telephone number can I call? Do they answer it within a reasonable time frame?

Did you try the regular Princess phone line and ask for customer solutions?

Did you try the chat button?

It’s late now, you may have to try 1st thing Monday morning when they open.

Did you send all details that are needed?  I sent proof of ownership last Friday morning and had a response the same day in the afternoon (this was the UK office).  The OBC appeared online in my payments section at the same time.  My cruise is in November.

I would suggest sending again.  Maybe the first email was lost.

I sent the following details in an email

 - redacted copy of proof of ownership (attached to email)

 - My full name

 - Cruise ship name

 - Sailing Date

 - Booking reference

Where is the payments section which shows OBC?

You have the correct email address and it does sometimes take a week or so. Once done you’ll get a new confirmation showing the extra OBC.

Good luck 🤞

Appalling service from Princess.  We applied for obc nearly three months ago. Kept sending a reminder and the investment company also rang

them twice.  Absolutely no response.

Arrived back from cruise today, guest services emailed them twice

whilst we were onboard. So we have had no obc. Cannot understand it.

We never have this problem with P and O. However, I have to say this

last cruise on Emerald Princess far exceeded anything P and O offer.

Such a shame.

I have used Princess’ shareholder claim details 4 times recently and the only hitch I had was having to wait 3 months from purchasing the shares to my first ‘claim’. I really don’t know why they’re not responding but I do know others have used their chat system to sort things out recently.
Good luck..!

We had this problem recently, waiting weeks and weeks using that email and other ones we’d had suggested to us. Eventually  I sent the Princess account on Twitter a DM and they responded immediately and the credit was showing within minutes. They said that the benefits@ email is correct but there had been some sort of ‘glitch’. Anyway - Twitter messaging worked for us.

I've always used shareholderbenefits@carnivalukgroup.com.  Hope that helps.

That's the address for P & O , the Princess one the O P used is for Princess. That address would probably get there eventually but might go round the houses a bit.

A couple of points that I have missed out before, make sure the proof shows an up to date date on it, your name and the number of shares. We have always had an automated response immediately saying it has been received and then another e mail between a few days and just over a week later saying OBC has been added. If there is a problem with the proof we have had an e mail telling us what is wrong.

If you never got the automated response the same day you sent then I assume it never got there. Try sending again and re typing the e mail address , not copying it, in case there was a problem with it.

Yes, I know. It's also the address for Cunard.  I wouldn't mind betting it all goes to the same office (under normal circumstances).  As the OP was getting increasingly frustrated I thought an alternative way in may be worth a punt.

This is the email address I use 👍

Which is the e mail address the OP used.

The reason I said earlier in post #15 try sending again and typing the e mail address in again and not just copying it is because if by chance you leave a space at the beginning of the address you wouldn't notice it but it wouldn't go.

I have tried all the suggestions.

I have sent a direct message on Twitter.

what is the problem with Princess?

I cannot afford to give up on 250 dollars

Did you get a response to your sent email immediately? I always did, so I guess if you didn’t something is awry 🤔

Have you tried a different email address that you use to send the request? I always use my hotmail address. So wish I could help you 😬

At least I received an immediate acknowledgment which I wasn’t getting before.

I was using a mail.com account.

Now I am using a hotmail account as you suggested.

Thanks - only 18 days to go now

Perhaps you did get a response and it was going to your junk mail.

Did you check your account in the Cruise Personaliser as any OBC shows up in there under Payments at the top of the screen, then scroll down
