Walking and exploring?

For the ports of call Charlottetown, Sydney, Halifax and Saint John is there enough to do just walking around? I'm not really into tours and normally spend a couple of hours exploring a city and what's near the port.

Going to Halifax at the beginning of October on the QM2 and have been there about 8 times in the past.

 

Can't tell you about Charlottetown since the last time was 2001 and really can't remember but we did a walking tour.

 

Halifax has many locations to see like the Citadel, Harbor Walkway, Maritime Museum, Central area of the City, many shops and restaurants. We like Salty's Restaurants for the sweetest Lobster from the Cold Canadian Waters. There is many more places to walk around and investigate.

Yes....Just walking around these ports will be fine. We actually opt to do this often.

Walking around without a plan is what we have done in all of those ports.

Sydney was the least interesting, but all have enough things to allow us to visit again, walk some more, and see new things of interest.
