I was wondering if this was a choice 🤔 Looking at the menu they pair the Tenderloin with shrimp  and pair the Lobster with sea scallops.   I was hoping you could get the combo you got.   I will make note.  Thanks.

yes, you could absolutely mix and match anything on the premier combo side.

The taste difference between the Cokes, the one you had is made with sugar cane not the sugar that is used in the US.

Interesting to know. I am a diehard Pepsi fan but will say I really liked the Caribbean version!

So then the question is, what is the difference between Mexican Coke and Caribbean coke?

The Mexican Coke & Caribbean Coke are both made with cane sugar. The US Coke is made with high fructose corn syrup.

I’m always wishing for and extra night (or week lol) on  a 7 night cruise.

8 nights seems to be the perfect number. 💕 Tomorrow, spa appointments and Giovanni’s dinner, may or may not get off in Labadee.

then the last sea day, Bingo (just because we always say we will and never do) Johnny rockets for lunch, then little wonders scavenger hunt and pub crawl.

solarium time today…..

belly flop competition at the pool….. I always wondered why they did it at the aqua theatre on theses larger ships and this is why….

just a sea of people….. couldn’t even get close to the railing outside to take this photo. The best I could do was excuse myself and talk someone into letting me squeeze in by the window of the windjammer to capture this pic….

turned out to be a perfect time to grab lunch in the windjammer, because it was deserted 👍

Lines outside the MDR last night for those with MTD. Consider yourself warned 😲

this is around 7 pm, which I assume is prime time for those who think 5:15 is too early and 8:15 is too late .

we arrived about 10 minutes late because we were taking some photos along the way, and when we got there they had seated someone else at our early dining table.

our waiter saw us leaving and quickly found us another spot in his section, and apologized profusely.

we were late, so I wasn’t upset about it, but just to note they might be giving your table away if now if you are not prompt!

They stopped doing the belly flop in the Aquatheatre a few years ago because of liability concerns as the pool has several niches where the divers hang out and the fear was that a guest could get stuck under there.  It was a much better venue, really wish they could find a way to hold it there again

It's still my understanding that if you make reservations for MTD you can bypass the line and go right to the maitre'd stand, correct?

Nope. There’s a line for reservations too. Most of the time the with and without reservations lines are about the same wait time.

Wow that's too bad. In the past they always said come directly to the stand and bypass the line.

Maybe they just need to have the divers in the pool during the competition as  lifeguards if needed! 😂

I actually like the pool location for theses competitions because once I’ve planted in a pool chair I don’t feel like walking around.

but it’s just too congested here on oasis class ships….

Spot on! In fact the first night the line with reservations was longer than the one without!

This mornings activities included a spa  treatment and then breakfast at wipe out…..

the spa special was a 70 minute head to foot massage and eye treatment for $169, gratuity additional but 18% automatically added at the end. Port special.

this was better than any similar treatment price using my C&A discount, and they are not combinable.

I don’t usually visit the spa on cruises, but decided to try it since it had been awhile.

the treatment was great, although beware the upsell of scented vs  “regular” oils. Also expect the post massage upsell for a variety of products. They are not pushy tho…. A simple “thanks” and “I’ll think about it” and I was on my way

a few spa area photos

I can’t remember the last time we were in Labadee.

the views around are stunning! I don’t  plan on getting off though.  Enjoying a virtually empty ship and didn’t have to take out a second mortgage to fund a cabana rental. 🤑

we had an OTW cabana here years ago and really liked it, but it was a fraction of the price they charge now

 Very nice,

looks like a mini Windjammer, and it looks less crowded.

Do they offer made to order eggs??
