Do the beds alternate every room with the bed next to balcony and then next to the bathroom like with Royal Caribbean? If so how do you know what you have?   Specifically asking about apex room 8181.  Thanks!

In 8181 the bed is by the bathroom.

Thanks kwokpot.  How do you find this info?

If you look at your room on the deck plan, you will see an outward notch which indicates bed position.  You can look at the adjacent cabins and see the notch is by the infinite verandah.

Exactly. The notch is where the bed goes, since the room is too narrow to fit in a bed if there wasn't a notch. So if the notch is closer to the window/IV balcony, the bed is by the balcony area. If the notch is closer to the middle of the room the bed is by the we bathroom, since the bathroom is at the entrance but not drawn into the deck plans.

I know what I'm about to ask might sound crazy but I'm a victim of motion sickness and our upcoming January sailing will be the first time on an Edge class ship.  In the past when sailing Solstice class,, I was always able to verify using the S-Class Cabin Information Compilation Spread Sheets on the top of Page One to obtain the info.

Just want to verify that in since 8181 is a port side cabin and the bed is by the bath this also means that, when lying in bed your body is facing forward like you were driving your car.

Yes that is correct. If you sit upright, you're facing the forward direction not backwards.
