John Wayne Airport. Doable for 1:09pm Flight?

We’re in a Sky Suite but like to have breakfast before we disembark. I have limited mobility but we intend to get an Uber to the airport. How comfortable is this time?

 

The airline changed our departure time from 2:40pm.

Gonna guess, and say you are sailing into San Pedro. Its a 40 or so minute drive to SNA. (Its a few minutes less from Long Beach, if that is where you are docking.) You can make it.

In case San Pedro or Long Beach aren't relevant,  San Diego's cruise pier is a solid 90 minutes. You can still make it, but you might want plan a earlier breakfast.

We live near John Wayne and cruise out in & out of San Pedro often. That flight time is doable. The Retreat concierges will escort you off whenever you are ready to go, so no lines. Then use a porter so you can whiz through immigration.
SNA airport itself is a breeze. Check-in & TSA are usually relatively quick & the airport is well organized and not large (nothing like LAX!). From getting dropped off at the curb to sitting at our gate has always been surprisingly quick for us.

SNA airport is probably one of most organized for security check points of any medium sized airport in the country.  Since you have mobility issues I would try to determine what gate you are flying from and use one of the three security check points nearest your gate.  SNA is a straight long terminal if you happen to go in security at the wrong place it can be a very long walk to your gate.  I have also found the middle security check point usually longer wait than the two at either end of departure level.  But overall security check in is a breeze compared to other airports.
